How quickly can you list my property?

We can have your property up and running in under a week. The timeline depends on how quickly you provide key information, but if you’re committed to the process, we’ll have your listing live in no time.


Can I help write my Airbnb listing description?

Absolutely! You know your property better than anyone. We’ll work closely with you to craft the perfect listing, ensuring it highlights your home’s best features. Our onboarding team will guide you through the process, and you can easily upload property details via our host dashboard.

Additionally, you’ll be able to discuss your rental duration preferences with your account manager and update them anytime through our digital host dashboard. If you prefer not to list on a particular platform, just let us know.

We list properties on the following booking platforms:

  • Short-term stays: Airbnb, Booking.com, Vrbo
  • Long-term rentals: Zoopla, HomeLike, RightMove, Spotahome, Morning Croissant, CityLets, NestPicks, and UniPlaces

Can I use STREAM if my property is not already listed on Airbnb?

Yes! We handle the entire listing process for you, from setting up your Airbnb profile to optimising it for bookings. If you'd like, we can also list your property on other platforms to maximise your rental income.


Do I need any certificates?

Certain documents may be required depending on your location. However, we do expect all properties to be fully compliant with local health, safety, and government regulations. We strongly recommend:

  • Gas and electrical safety inspections from your suppliers
  • Ensuring fire and carbon monoxide alarms are operational before hosting

If any additional certificates are required, we’ll guide you through the process.


How long will it take until I start earning?

If you’re ready to get started, we’ll list your property within a week. Once it’s live and your availability is set, you can begin accepting bookings immediately. Payments are processed on a monthly basis after guests have checked in.

How do you screen potential guests?

We follow a three-step guest vetting process to ensure security and peace of mind:

  • ID Verification – We use official ID verification software to confirm guest identities. Airbnb bookings go through Airbnb’s verification process, while bookings from other platforms are screened using a third-party verification system.
  • Fraud Detection – Our payment system uses an application programming interface (API) to automatically detect and block fraudulent transactions.
  • Manual Screening – Our expert team cross-references guest details and looks for red flags to ensure every booking is legitimate. 


With these safeguards in place, you can list confidently and maximise your bookings across multiple platforms.

Which booking websites will my property be listed on?

We list properties on different platforms based on the rental length you prefer. Our strategy combines short-term, medium-term, and long-term lets to maximize your revenue.

  • Short-term stays: Airbnb, Booking.com, Vrbo, Expedia
  • Long-term lets: Zoopla, HomeLike, RightMove, Spotahome, Morning Croissant, CityLets, NestPicks, UniPlaces

Linen and toiletries

Are there any additional toiletries costs?

cleaning fees are covered by guests, so there’s nothing extra for you to pay. We set the cleaning fee based on the number of bedrooms and any additional beds used (e.g., sofa beds).

If you’d like us to re-stock toiletries, we’ll handle the purchase and placement, with the cost charged to your account

Maintenance and Insurance

Will you consult me before carrying out maintenance?

Yes. When you join, you’ll have the option to set your maintenance preferences, deciding whether we should resolve issues immediately or contact you first. You can update this preference at any time via your host dashboard, and also set a budget for various repairs.

If a repair is needed, our housekeeping team will report the issue, providing photos for reference. We’ll upload a detailed report to your dashboard, and we will either resolve the issue right away (if it’s within budget) or reach out to you to discuss your options.

What happens if a guest damages my property?

If a guest causes damage, our housekeeping team will notify us immediately and provide photos. We’ll then contact the guest through the booking platform to request payment for the damages. If the guest refuses to pay, we will escalate the case through AirCover to ensure you receive appropriate compensation.
